After uploading my images to my new Flickr account, I was curious to find out how Flickr could be used in an educational setting. I searched the web for lesson plans that utilized Flickr and found a great one at http://www.interfacemagazine.co.nz/downloads/INTERFACE%20Lesson%20Plan%2042%20-%20Five%20Card%20Flickr%20Story.pdf
Interface magazine suggested that Flickr could be used to create a story using "5 Cards" hence the name "5 Card Flickr". Using this site, http://tr.im/fivecard to select the cards to create a story using images.
This is a great way to inspire students' writing, especially since it can be so hard sometimes to come up with a good story!
